The Waldorf School of Baltimore's programs begin in early childhood and continue through the 12th grade. In addition to lower, middle, and upper-school programs, Waldorf provides stimulating and nurturing nursery and kindergarten classes. Waldorf also offers a program for parents or caregivers to attend with their infants and toddlers that reflects the current thinking of child development professionals.
Children's Garden
Parent & Child, Nursery, and Kindergarten classes
Parent & Child classes are for infants and toddlers, expectant mothers, parents, and caregivers. A student seeking admission to the Nursery must turn three years of age by December 1 of the year of enrollment. The Nursery class is available Monday through Wednesday with a full day or half day option. Kindergarten classes are for children ages 4 to 6 and run as half or full day classes. All half day classes end at noon, and full day classes end at 3:00 p.m. Early Birds can arrive at 7:30 a.m., with classes beginning at 8:30 a.m. After-school care is available. Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools
Applications are accepted for the 1st through 10th grades at this time. Classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at 3:20 p.m. for the lower and middle school, and 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the upper school. After-school care is available.
After-School Care
The Aftercare Program is designed to meet the needs of children whose parents require quality, supervised childcare between school dismissal time and 6:00 p.m. Call PlayCenters, Inc. at (410) 296-4880 for more information, or ask us about the program during your tour of Waldorf.
