Eurythmy, an art of movement, is taught at WSB from Nursery through Grade 8. Students work with music, story, and verse through expressive gestures and movements. The gestures for the sounds of speech arise from how the larynx and the air function as one speaks. Eurythmy builds awareness of space and geometry through awareness of oneself and those all around. Moving geometric forms are learned through experiencing an inward picture of the form and then moving it either alone or with others. Eurythmy also functions as a social art, as students learn to move in harmony with each other.
