Asaf Keller is the parent of Ben and Max. His family first came to the Waldorf School of Baltimore through the school’s Parent-Child Class in 2007 with Ben. The school has become his extended family. With his wife, Jo, they have volunteered for a number of events at the school in the past seven years. Asaf holds a PhD in Neurobiology from Ben Gurion University, Israel. He is a Professor of Anatomy & Neurobiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he has been a faculty member since 1995. His research focuses on the neurobiology of sensory perception, and he teaches graduate and medical students.
