Jo grew up in Manchester, England, and loves the music, the red soccer team, and the cuisine(!) of her original hometown. She moved to Baltimore in 1998 and has become a passionate ambassador for her new hometown. Jo has two sons who both attended WSB, and she is deeply committed to supporting our school in its mission to provide children with the best education there is: a Waldorf Education.

Jo earned a BA (Honours) in German with International Studies from Warwick University.  Her career in Development took off at the National Aquarium, where she headed up their Membership program, cultivated major donors, and organized the annual fundraiser, Splash!. She has worked at other Baltimore non-profits and is very glad to now have found her home in the Development Office at WSB.

Jo once sailed across the Atlantic in a 39ft steel sloop.  She speaks German, plays the piano, gardens, knits and sings - all equally badly, even when focusing on one at a time.
