ABOUT
Founded in 1971, the Waldorf School of Baltimore is an independent, coeducational day school for students in nursery through 8th grade.
In a world buzzing with the relentless pursuit of test scores, Waldorf Education stands out as a beacon of holistic learning, where the mind, body, and spirit are nurtured in harmony. This unique educational approach goes beyond conventional methods, embracing a philosophy that sees each child as a blossoming, unique individual with diverse gifts waiting to unfurl.
Waldorf classrooms are vibrant, dynamic spaces where arts and academics come together to create a rich and engaging learning experience. Designed to honor the developmental stages of childhood, the multi-sensory curriculum seamlessly integrates painting, music, drama, and movement into daily lessons, sparking a lifelong passion for learning.
Waldorf education goes beyond academics, nurturing the whole child by fostering critical thinking, compassion, and social responsibility. With a deep connection to nature and an emphasis on reverence for all living things, Waldorf equips students to meet life’s challenges with resilience, creativity, and grace.
