Tuition

We understand that choosing a private school is a significant financial investment. At the Waldorf School of Baltimore, we are committed to making this transformative education accessible to as many families as possible. Explore our tuition options, financial aid opportunities, and payment plans to find the best fit for your family.

2025-2026 Inclusive Tuition

Bundled Tuition

Our bundled tuition covers far more than traditional expenses. We do not ask caregivers to pay additional fees for books, artist-quality supplies, group instrumental lessons or ensemble for grades 4 - 8, or class field and camping trips.

Tuition Payment Plans

We understand that choosing an independent school involves a significant financial commitment. The Waldorf School of Baltimore is dedicated to making our joyful and holistic approach to education accessible to all families. With this in mind, we offer multiple payment plans in addition to generous financial assistance to those who qualify.

Waldorf offers three payment options: 1 Pay, 10 Pay, or 11 Pay. Families may choose their payment date to be on the 5th or 20th of the month, starting May 20 or June 5. Families may choose their plan and payment method when completing the Enrollment Contract.

Families enrolling late, who choose an extended payment plan, will catch up with any missed payments at the time of enrollment.

Optional Program Fees

Forest Explorers Aftercare Program, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m for children enrolled in Pre-K (Age 3+) through Grade 8.

The Forest Explorers program at the Waldorf School of Baltimore is an important facet of our school community, both for our busy parents and for the students themselves. Students may attend Aftercare three or five days a week. Families must register for Aftercare online in the Parent Portal.

At WSB, we recognize that today children are not spending as much time in nature as former generations. Our Forest Aftercare program is designed to provide a safe space for children to cultivate a deep bond with nature. Students enrolled in the Forest Explorers program spend most of their time outside in our outdoor classrooms and play spaces. Free play and nature exploration are key aspects of this program. We are outside nearly every day; rain, snow, or shine!

Aftercare will provide 30 minutes for students with homework. During severe weather warnings or thunderstorms, children participate in indoor activities.

To learn more, email the Admissions Office or call: 410-367-6808, ext. 202

Afterschool Sports & Clubs

Optional programs that fall outside of the school day, such as afterschool sports and clubs, may have additional costs.

Early Birds

This complimentary program provides care for your student before the school day begins. Drop off for early birds begins at 7:30 a.m. Students will enjoy their time primarily outdoors and should come to school dressed for the weather. Advance registration is required. Enrolled families will receive an email when registration opens during the summer prior to the new school year.
