Parents Association

Collectively, we all share the responsibility of creating and sustaining the life and culture of the school, modeling the importance of community for our children, and challenging WSB to be the best it can be.

Our Goals

Enhance Parent Connection, Enhance Parent Participation, and Strengthen diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in our community.

The Parents Association at the Waldorf School of Baltimore is at the heart of our vibrant school community. It strengthens the bonds between families, supports our dedicated faculty and staff, and enriches the lives of our students. Every parent or caregiver of a WSB student is automatically a member of the Parents Association, and our work to support the school is open to all who want to help nurture a welcoming, inclusive, and thriving community.

Each class, from Children’s Garden through Eighth Grade, has one or two Class Parents who volunteer to represent their class throughout the year. These Class Parents are key to fostering connections, supporting teachers, organizing social events, and helping with school activities.

PA Community Meetings are a great opportunity to come together, share ideas, and stay connected to the pulse of the school.  At each meeting members of the School Administration Team and the Parents Association Leadership Team keep parents informed with updates and announcements. You will hear from the Executive Director, discuss upcoming events like fundraisers and festivals, and have opportunities for parent education and sharing in the collective experience of our school. It’s a chance to deepen your connection with the school, your fellow parents, and the broader community.

The Parents Association can be reached directly by email
