Alanis Brown, a graduate of Baltimore City College Highschool class of 2018, is in her sophomore year of college attending SUNY Empire State College and The Fashion Institute of Technology pursuing a bachelor's degree in Illustration and a Minor in Graphic design. As the new Aftercare Forest Assistant Teacher Alanis has a diverse background of experience working with children ages 2 to14 teaching art and design and pedagogical learning. Alanis’ previous experience from Future Makers and the New Century School, allows her to bring out student's creativity while keeping them engaged in an outdoor environment. After completing her undergrad degree she plans to continue school to earn an art teaching degree in early childhood development and elementary-aged students. Her hobbies include creating digital illustrations, walking her dog, traveling, and biking around Baltimore City!
