Matthew brings his considerable musical talents to the Waldorf School of Baltimore. He studied Piano/Organ Performance and Choral Music Education at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV. He is an accomplished conductor, composer, and collaborative keyboardist. He’s worked with many prestigious groups and organizations, including: The Master Singers of VA, Harford Choral Society, and the Cathedral of the Incarnation. His musical impact on his community landed his name and picture in the Baltimore Sun twice. He’s worked with people who have influenced the history and education of music: Calloway Brooks & Camay Callaway Murphy (grandson and daughter of Cab Calloway), Donald Sutherland & Leon Fleisher (Professors Emeritus at Peabody Conservatory). He has served as Band Director at Magnolia Middle school. He’s also studied sound engineering under the guidance of Ken Brown, owner of R. A. Daffer Church Organs in Jessup, MD.
