Celia, a proud alumna of the Waldorf School of Baltimore (8th grade Class of 2005), brings her unique perspective and dedication to the school as a substitute teacher in the Children's Garden for over a year. With over a decade of experience in caring for and teaching children through babysitting and nannying, Celia's commitment to education is deeply rooted. She earned her B.F.A. in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design, showcasing her creative prowess. Beyond the academic realm, Celia embraces a unique summer tradition, participating in commercial salmon fishing in Alaska, where she relishes the unplugged time working alongside her family. Celia's love for the outdoors is evident in her passion for hiking and solo camping. Her diverse interests include videography, cooking, embroidery, aerial silks, and bouldering. These hobbies not only enrich her life but also contribute to the vibrant and dynamic spirit of the Waldorf community. Celia is not just an educator; she is a multifaceted individual whose experiences and passions create a rich tapestry within the school environment.
