Kimberly Dodson was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended the Waldorf School of Baltimore from the Children's Garden to 8th grade (Class of 2005!) and is ecstatic to give time and energy to an institution she holds so dear. She holds a BA in Theatre from Muhlenberg College with a concentration in Acting and Performance Studies and a double minor in Dance and Sociology.
Kimberly is a theater and TV actor and director who, before the pandemic, spent 8 years in NYC. She has performed on a number of stages throughout her time as a performer, from regional theatres, cruise ships, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Broadway. Some fun credits include: Summer: The Donna Summer Musical on Broadway, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway, and she recently made her TV debut on That D**n Michael Che on HBOMAX.
During the pandemic she relocated back to Baltimore and has made Baltimore her permanent residence! She continues to act and direct in NYC and Baltimore and is excited to continue her craft while also being close to family and getting easier access to a crab cake.
