Meg was conceived in California, born in the Northeast, and raised in the Midwest, and in that sense her background is multicultural.  After many years in Maryland, she now can pronounce that word as natives do, although she has never mastered the true Baltimore accent.  Her interests include ballroom dancing with her husband, gardening, reading, laughing, helping with her synagogue’s Religious School, and annoying her adult sons.  Her wonderful Chinese daughter-in-law has never been annoyed with her (as far as she can tell).  She hopes not, anyway.
