Lea Gurreri grew up in Baltimore and attended the Waldorf School of Baltimore for several years as a young child. Lea attended Drexel University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science with a certificate in Services for Children and Youth. She completed her teaching internships at Bache-Martin Elementary/Middle School and the Franklin Learning Center in Philadelphia. After moving back to Baltimore, Lea worked as a media specialist and teacher at the Baltimore Design School, an arts-integrated public school serving grades 6-12. She has taken courses through Sunbridge Institute and is furthering her education through the Center for Anthroposophy.
Lea enjoys adventuring with her husband and two children, gardening, and learning new things.
