Cate Mulvihill received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Montclair State University, NJ, and was a graduate of the first Applied Arts Program, Sunbridge College, NY. She was one of the founders and first teachers of the Pittsburgh Waldorf School, before joining the Waldorf School of Baltimore. Cate has worked with Kim John Payne to develop our school’s Social Inclusion Program and Student Action Committee. Cate is the mother of four and an experienced backpacker, canoe, sailing, challenge course and team building instructor and enjoys teaching these skills to students during camping trips. Cate was the Handwork teacher at WSB for many years and in her retirement she mentors new teachers part-time and is the main caregiver for her grandchild.
